At Holborn, we realize the importance of giving back to the community, and we do so as an organization and individually. Over the years, we have supported a variety of local charities; one constant has been an interest in helping young people. Among others, we provide funding to the Fresh Air Fund, Girls Quest and the Children’s Storefront, an independent, tuition-free school in Harlem.

Of course, it is difficult to be in the insurance business without understanding all too well the tragic consequences of disasters like the Haitian earthquake, Hurricane Katrina and the Indian Ocean tsunami. In each of those cases, Holborn responded as a company with donations to the various relief efforts. Many employees also contributed individually, taking advantage of Holborn's corporate matching program to leverage their impact.
